This policy explains how Chief Solutions Limited ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data on this website (chiefsolutions.co.uk) and in the course of operating our business. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect on this website
This website is a static informational site. We do not run analytics, set cookies, embed third-party scripts, or operate any tracking. The only personal data we process via this site is what you choose to send us by email.
What we collect when you contact us
If you email us at hello@chiefsolutions.co.uk or support@chiefsolutions.co.uk, we will hold your email address and the contents of your message in order to respond. We process this information on the lawful basis of legitimate interest (responding to enquiries).
Our products
Our software products may collect additional personal data necessary for their operation (for example: account email address, device tokens for push notifications, in-app actions). How long we keep your data
We retain email correspondence for as long as is necessary to handle the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up. Routine correspondence is deleted after twelve months unless we have a continuing reason to keep it (for example, an active business relationship or a legal obligation).
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of standard service providers (email hosting, cloud infrastructure) to operate our business; these providers process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements. We do not transfer personal data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area unless an adequate-safeguards mechanism (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision) is in place.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support@chiefsolutions.co.uk. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
